About the project
The Creative Partnerships program is a Hungarian adaptation of a British educational model that has been operating in Hungary since 2015. The program supports the five fundamental pillars of creativity: curiosity, imagination, collaboration, disciplined thinking, and perseverance.
As part of the European Capital of Culture 2026 initiative, the program is currently operating in six elementary schools in Trenčín, Slovakia. Its focus is on bringing artists into schools to work with teachers to design lessons, creating active and engaging lessons where students learn through physical, social, emotional, and intellectual participation. Particular emphasis is placed on supporting socially disadvantaged children by strengthening their self-confidence and motivation.
