Create Erasmus plus - 2025

In the Create! Erasmus plus programme, with the Creative Partnerships methodology, we support Romanian language education by involving native Romanian-speaking artists in schools where most students are Hungarian-speaking. In this pilot project, our goal is to train local coordinators, local artists, and teachers, as well as to involve two schools (elementary or secondary) from two towns: one from Gheorgheni and one from Timișoara. The trained artists and coordinators form the core team of the program and ensure its sustainability. The students participating in the program are between 10 and 15 years old.

EDUCHANGE 2025

The EDUCHANGE project aims to be one of the first to conduct experiments in several countries with different education systems (Denmark, Germany, Hungary, Iceland). The project aims to develop programs that can reduce inequality in educational transitions. The project addresses both the transition from primary to secondary school and from secondary to higher education.

The research is aimed at students at compulsory schools, right before they transition to secondary education, and at upper secondary school students who are close to graduation.  The core of the research builds on an intervention design where randomly chosen groups of students sit through information sessions and guidance sessions while others are part of the control group. At different time points, before and after the intervention, students, parents, and guidance professionals answer questionnaire surveys. The aim of the research is to identify educational programs and intervensions that have been proven to reduce inequalities.

The EDUCHANGE project is fully funded by the European Union through the European Research Council (ERC). The project is based at the University of Iceland. More info here.

Creative Partnerships in Slovakia 2025/26

Trenčin will be the European Capital of Culture in 2026. As part of this initiative, the Creative Partnership program will run in six primary schools in Slovakia from September 2025. It aims to involve artists in schools who will plan lessons together with teachers, creating active and engaging lessons in which students participate physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. Special emphasis is placed on supporting socially disadvantaged children, strengthening their self-confidence and motivation. Read more about the program here.
